What does the future hold for Ludo in the upcoming episodes of “Un si grand soleil”? During his time at the CANNESERIES festival, Folco Marchi, who plays Ludo, spoke to Allociné about what’s next for his character.

Ludo, often seen as endearing, awkward, and deeply human, has become a staple character in “Un si grand soleil” over the seasons. Despite a series of romantic missteps, he now seems ready to steer his life towards calmer waters. But what exactly is in store for Ludo in the upcoming episodes of this daily drama on France 3?

From moving to a farm, to heartaches and friendships, life is set to be eventful for Ludo. While attending the CANNESERIES festival, Folco Marchi, the actor behind Ludo, shared insights with Allociné about the future of his role.

Allociné: You’ve been portraying Ludo for several years now. How do you view his evolution? Do you see yourself in him?

Folco Marchi: Over the years, I’ve learned to shape him and bring various shades to his character. I’ve also learned to be surprised by the script. The writers and I work closely; we inspire each other and bring fresh ideas. Currently, I’m trying to add more emotional stability to him. We do share some similarities in certain aspects.

Ludo has started therapy to avoid disastrous love affairs. Do you think he will finally find emotional stability?

I really hope so for him. I’ve played it as sincerely as possible so that he can grow and learn. I’m keen to strengthen him emotionally. However, we depend on the writers’ stories. Things happen. In life, as in love, not everything is under control. There might be more complications ahead.

Ludo recently gave in to temptation with Axelle, the carpenter. Is this relationship serious, or will Ludo fall back into old habits?

It’s a serious relationship. However, he might be in denial without realizing it. Therapy takes time, so he might still make mistakes. But he’s genuinely trying to build something healthy, balanced, and stable with her.

A few weeks ago, Ludo was at the center of a plot involving Flore’s past. Did you enjoy exploring this aspect of your character?

Absolutely! It was very interesting and fulfilling to play.

The shared living arrangement recently moved to the farm. What will this new chapter look like for Ludo and the others? Are there adventures or twists expected there?

Yes! Elise will decide she prefers to stay in the city. Elodie will take it badly. Ludo, Bilal, and Ulysse will then do everything to get Elise to come to the farm. This will lead to many plots and introduce other characters. It’s a whole new dynamic.

Ludo and Alix have shared a great camaraderie for several seasons. With a mix of genuine friendship and minor schemes, will we see new escapades or crazy antics in the weeks to come?

Alix will soon be involved in a somewhat shady affair. Working with Nadia Fossier has been tremendously enjoyable. They are such good friends and care deeply for each other that Ludo would do anything for her. This storyline, which should air soon, will further solidify their bond.

What’s coming up for Ludo in the next few weeks?

Ludo’s friendship with Flore will evolve. Besides that, there’s the move to the farm. There’s also an ecological storyline coming up about a water shortage and the urgency for farmers.
